Mold Buster was started by scientists who spent years producing reference materials and quality controls to pharmaceutical and biotech standards. We kept asking the same question: why doesn't anyone bring this level of rigor to the consumer?

Mold and bacteria testing at home has been broken for a long time. Inspectors are expensive and slow. Basic DIY kits tell you something is there, but not what it is or what to do about it. The result is that most people spend months and hundreds of dollars looking for an answer they never fully get.

We built Mold Buster to change that. Our kits use the same culture media we formulated for regulated industries — pre-poured, ready to use, and paired with a mobile app that identifies what's growing and tells you whether to act.
